Take Your Pups For A Swim At Dog-A-Pool-Ooza

For two days this summer, before Parks and Rec cleans a few community pools, they'll let pups enjoy a dip.

DENVER, CO — It's that time of year again, and Dog-a-Pool-ooza is back. Denver Parks and Recreation sent out a press release telling the world of the fun event when dogs will have the last swim in the city's pools before crews drain and clean them.

First, they'll be accepting pups into the Cook Park Pool at 7100 E. Cherry Creek Drive South on Sunday, Aug. 12. The first session is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Then, there's a 30-minute break, we're assuming to skim the dog hair from the water, before the second session from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The second day of pups in pools will be Sunday, Sept 2. at the Berkeley Park Pool at 5105 W. 46th Ave. Their three sessions are: 9 to 10 a.m., 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
