Woman Stabbed In Denver Apartment: Denver Police Seek Suspect
Denver police say they are searching for a possibly homeless man as a suspect in the stabbing death of Jeanna Leslie, 49.

DENVER, CO -- Denver police have identified a suspect in the stabbing death of a woman found in her Denver loft apartment early Wednesday morning in the 1500 block of Stout Street. According to an autopsy news release from the Denver Medical Examiner, Jeanna Leslie, 49, was stabbed multiple times.
Family and friends asked police to check on Leslie's welfare. She had recently moved to Denver from Dallas, Texas. Neighbors complained of a bad smell near her apartment on the fourth floor of the Rio Grande Lofts.
Now Denver police say they have a suspect: Terry Lane Dunford, 40, is "believed to be homeless in the downtown area," police said in a statement. Dunford is described as a white male, 6โ00โ, approximately 185 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say if arrested, Dunford is likely to face first-degree murder charges.
