The officer is accused of injuring a woman and damaging her phone during a prolonged immigration protest, with a first court appearance set in La Plata County Court on May 27.

CSP: Driver fails to stop, causes 3-vehicle crash with trooper (westernslopenow.com) ā A Durango man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after allegedly running a stop sign and hitting a Colorado State Patrol trooperās car in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 172 in La Plata County. The trooper suffered minor injuries and was treated and released, while other drivers were unhurt. State Patrol officials are using the incident to stress planning sober rides.
