• Colorado Board of Education rejects STEM School High School relocation into LPS (highlandsranchherald.com) — STEM School Highlands Ranch families just learned that Colorado's State Board of Education upheld Littleton Public Schools' decision blocking the high school's move from its Ridgeline Boulevard campus in Highlands Ranch to a Littleton site. The 6-3 vote keeps the high school in Douglas County for now, amid debate over enrollment, funding, and how much demand exists within the Littleton district.
   

• Children's Colorado among best hospitals nationwide (denvergazette.com) — Families in Highlands Ranch can take pride that Children's Hospital Colorado, which operates a major campus in town, has again been named among the nation's top pediatric systems by U.S. News & World Report. The hospital earned statewide and regional top rankings and national top-10 placements in several specialties, highlighting strong outcomes and resources for children needing advanced care.
   

• Positive Athlete nominations open for 2026-27 season (thegoldentranscript.com) — Highlands Ranch is represented in the Positive Athlete awards by Mountain Vista's Braelynn Looney, one of 28 Colorado student-athletes honored for character and community impact. With nominations now open for the 2026-27 season, local coaches, parents, and teachers can put forward more Highlands Ranch students for scholarships and statewide recognition focused on positivity in youth sports.
