Man Arrested After Standoff In Lakewood Pawn Shop
A man has been taken into custody after he barricaded himself inside a shop near Colfax and Wadsworth, Lakewood police said.
LAKEWOOD, CO — A man has been arrested after a standoff at a pawn shop in Lakewood Wednesday morning. The man barricaded himself in the store and refused to come out, police said.
The man had used a stolen truck to ram the business and get inside, police said.
An alarm went off at 4:30 a.m. at the EZ Pawn near Colfax and Wadsworth, police said. Police officers arrived at the store and tried to talk the man out of the business.

With the help of the K-9 unit, Bronson Thomas Moore, 31, was taken into custody just before 7 a.m., police said. He faces burglary, motor vehicle theft and criminal mischief charges.
No one was inside the store with the man and no injuries were reported.

The eastbound lanes of West Colfax near Allison and the southbound lanes of Wadsworth near West 20th were closed during the standoff.
