Bank Robberies In Lakewood & Littleton: FBI Seeks Suspects
The Denver FBI seeks help locating suspects in two robberies in Littleton and Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, CO -- Law enforcement officials are looking for suspects in two un-related bank robberies that took place in Littleton and Lakewood.
In the first robbery, a man presented a demand note at the US Bank in the 300 block of South Teller Street on Jan. 16 around 10 a.m. He fled southbound on foot. The robber was described as a black male, in his early twenties, around 6’ tall, with medium build, wearing a greenish hooded coat, dark scarf, dark grey slacks, and black shoes.
On Jan. 18 in Littleton, a man robbed the Colorado State Bank and Trust in the 10000 block of West San Juan Way around 10:05 a.m. The robber reportedly told the teller he had a weaponed and demanded money. He was described as a black male, 5’06” – 5’07” tall, approximately 180 pounds, who wore a blue beanie hat, dark sunglasses, dark turtleneck, and dark “Nike” shirt, with a light blue undershirt, dark pants, and dark tennis shoes. The suspect fled in a northbound direction. Police said there was was a 2000–2006 Lincoln LS sedan observed near the bank that might be associated with the robbery.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime, a statement from the FBI said.
