Bomb Threat Cleared At Colorado Department Of Revenue: Police
The State of Colorado Department of Revenue Building at 1881 Pierce St. in Lakewood will remain closed Thursday, Lakewood Police said.

LAKEWOOD, CO — Lakewood Police today investigated a bomb threat at the State of Colorado Department of Revenue building, located at 1881 Pierce St. Despite the threat, police said they found no bomb on the premises.
Police posted information about the bomb threat to the department's Twitter feed the morning of Sept. 5. Before the Department of Revenue building was cleared, occupants were evacuated and police asked others to avoid the area.
Police said the building will remain closed the rest of the day.
