- Colorado-based ski patrol group in turmoil. The third director of National Ski Patrol over the past five years has has left the company, saying they couldn't resolve conflict with group's governing board. (CO Sun)
- Denver takes a tepid step toward supporting safe parking sites. The City of Denver has committed $150K toward a plan to provide safe parking spaces to those living in their cars. With an estimated 1,000 people living in their cars in the city, this funding estimates it will serve 60 "homes." (Denverite)
- Two restaurants with "Campfire" in their names prepping for trademark battle. The soon to open Campfire Lakewood, which is connected to the Campfire Evergreen restaurant isn't part of the Colorado Campfire restaurant in Denver. The Colorado Campfire people want Evergreen and Lakewood to stop using "Campfire." (Westword)
- Free school lunch program will be on November's state ballot. Federal funding for the meal program during the COVID-19 pandemic are expiring and some in Colorado want to extend the program permanently. (FOX31)
