Here are the top five stories today in Lakewood:
- Will Casa Bonita reopen by this summer? The Lakewood Office of Economic Development indicated that the city is anticipating a grand reopening by this summer, but a spokesperson for the restaurant indicated that there's no firm opening date. So we'll keep an eye on when you can head over for a batch of sopapillas! (FOX31)
- Lakewood house fire a total loss, one dead. A person was found dead at 2700 block of South Cole Court in Lakewood on Thursday. When firefighters arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames. No word on the cause of the fire, or the identity of the victim. (KDVR)
- Primus and Ween will headline South Park 25th Anniversary Show at Red Rocks. Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone will be part of the Comedy Central show that will celebrate 25 years of Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny, the longest running scripted show. (9News)
- Lakewood resident dies at Copper Mountain Ski resort. Justin Ott, 25, of Lakewood, died at Copper Mountain Resort last Saturday after he lost control and crashed into a tree. (Summit Daily)
- Who found the water leak at Denver International Airport that caused $50 million in damages? The guy who discovered the leak, Robert Wilson, was working the graveyard shift – two hours into his shift – he noticed a big problem with DIA's hot water system in the soon-to-open B concourse. "This was a really big leak and... I need to go locate it." (CBS4)
