- One climber killed in Rocky Mountain National Park Avalanche. A large avalanche and rockfall injured two climbers on Mt. Meeker, near the Dreamweaver Couloir on Mt. Meeker. On Sunday evening, the body of a third climber was found. (CBS)
- Lakewood man arrested after slow-speed police chase in Teller County. The driver, Brady Bathrick, of Lakewood, is facing several charges including assault on a peace officer, eluding and reckless endangerment. (CBS4)
- Jefferson County Library to extend hours at Conifer Library. Students will use the space during the day, while the public library will expand their hours in the evening and on weekends. (Patch)
