- How much snow will Denver get this month? Typically, Denver has received 12.5 inches of snow by this time, but only 10.9 inches of snow has fallen. On average, Denver sees eight inches of snowfall in December. (FOX31)
- Revised marijuana licensing rules in Colorado go into effect. Last year, the Colorado legislature had passed some new marijuana regulations dealing with how employees could move from company to company, along with a variety of other issues that needed updating in the industry. (CO Politics)
- Former Sears site in Lakewood sold, no plans yet. The adjacent shopping center owner has acquired the old Sears site that's been sitting idle since 2018. While there's no formal plan yet, the owner envisions a mixed-use development taking shape in the future. (REBusinessOnline)
- Frozen Dead Guy Days shake up. After not being able to come to terms with the town of Nederland to continue the 20 year celebration of a dead guy in a tuff shed, it looked like Frozen Dead Guy Days was DOA for 2023. As luck would have it, the event organizers struck a deal with Estes Park and it will be reborn on St. Patrick's weekend – in partnership with the legendary Stanley Hotel. (CBS4)
- EPA gives Denver Water a green light to replace lead pipes. The Environmental Protection Agency has approved a $700 million plan to remove lead water pipes in and around Denver. Lead water pipes are a major source of lead poisoning. (Local Today)
