1. Driver sentenced in DUI accident of cyclist Gwen Inglis. The hammer came down on Ryan Montoya, who pled guilty to vehicular homicide after killing champion cyclist in May 2021 while driving under the influence of meth. He'll spend 8 years in prison. (9News)
2. Are gas prices going to stay this high forever? That's the question that's on everyone's mind now that Colorado has seen its highest gas prices ever recorded. (FOX31)
3. The proposed new owner is putting up $4.5 billion to buy the Broncos. The Waltons (the family that invented Walmart) are buying Denver's beloved football team – for what is considered the highest price paid for any professional sports team, ever. (CPR)
4. Metro Denver real estate market cooling, but don't expect prices to drop. The Denver Metro Association of Realtors study indicates that home prices in the metro area have in some instances increased by 41 percent since April 2020. The report also indicates that home prices have finally slowed from the last frenzied year. (CBS4)
