Drug Take-Back Day Announced For Lakewood
Lakewood police will be collecting prescription drugs no longer needed on April 28.

LAKEWOOD, CO -- Lakewood residents with unwanted or unused prescription rugs can safely dispose of them with the Lakewood police department during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, april 28.
A drop-off site at 445 S. Allison Pkwy. will be open from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the upper parking lot. Members of the LPD will be on hand to collect your unused over-the-counter and prescription medications for proper destruction.
However, some items can't be accepted. These include: Needles and sharps, mercury thermometers, oxygen containers, pressurized canisters, illicit drugs, chemotherapy/radioactive substances.
