  1. Governor Polis announces he's running for a second term. Polis and his running mate, Lieutenant Governor Dianne Primavera, launched their election campaign in Pueblo on Tuesday. (Patch)
  2. Fewer people moved to Colorado in 2021. Overall population growth in Colorado has slowed, too. Net migration, a slowdown in births and an increase in people dying are contributing to a decrease in population growth as well. (9News)
  3. College students struggling with food insecurity. With with food prices jumping 6.3 percent in 2021, several thousand MSU Denver students are faced with food-insecurity. "The U.S. Department of Agriculture defines food insecurity as having 'limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe foods or limited or uncertain ability to acquire acceptable foods in socially acceptable ways.'"(RED)
