Free Diabetes Health Classes In Lakewood
Let this be the year you take charge of your type 2 diabetes with a free CDC class offered weekly on Mondays

LAKEWOOD, CO -- Make Monday your diabetes health day in Lakewood with an after-work free diabetes prevention program starting Feb. 5. The National Diabetes Prevention Program, led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), utilizes lifestyle change intervention to reduce your risk of type 2 diabetes. Classes are provided through a donation from Kaiser Permanente Colorado.
The free class meets for 16 weekly sessions followed by six monthly sessions from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Centura Health Belmar Neighborhood Health Center, 7551 W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood, CO 80226. If you have pre-diabetes or other risk factors for type 2 diabetes, it’s time to take charge of your health.
