- An 89-year-old Golden woman dies from injuries caused by dog attack. An elderly woman died four days after being attacked in her home by pit bull dogs. Her 12-year-old grandson was also injured during the attack. He was taken to the Children's Hospital and has since been released from the hospital. (9News)
- Colorado to receive $121 million for water projects. $121 million is on its way to the state from the federal infrastructure bill that will support and repair a variety of water infrastructure projects. The money provided by this bill will help deliver clean, safe and reliable drinking water to communities across the state. Additionally, funds will support vital waterway projects and projects to prevent flooding. (Out There)
- Metro Denver now has a hard boundary to the south. Castle Rock announces that it has no plans to expand its boundary to the south any further into Douglas County for development. (Local Today)
- Can geothermal electricity make a comeback? Some think so, including Gov. Jared Polis. Western governors are exploring how to expand the potentials of this 'underdeveloped' resource. (CO Newsline)
- Boulder County Coroner identifies victims in Saturday's midair crash. Three people were killed when two small airplanes collided midair near Longmont and then crashed. Those killed in the crash were: Henry Butler, 69; Samuel Fisher, 23 and Daniel Wilmoth, 22. (CO Sun)
