Jeffco Schools Board Candidates' Forum To Be Held In Lakewood
The public is invited to get to know Jeffco Schools Board candidates at an upcoming forum in Lakewood.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — A Jeffco Public Schools Board candidates' forum will be held this week in Lakewood. The school district will have two of its five Board of Education seats open for election Nov. 5: Director District 3 and Director District 4. Residents will vote on all candidates and choose one per director district.
This week's forum will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church, 920 Kipling St.
The Board of Education is composed of five members, elected to alternating four-year terms. Board members receive no pay; they give freely of their time to serve the community.

The election will be held by mail ballot and Voter Service Polling Centers, beginning with the mailing of ballots to voters the week of October 14.
