Jefferson County Offices Close Amid Coronavirus Spread
Jefferson County commissioners have directed the closure of all county offices to the public.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — As the new coronavirus becomes more widespread in Colorado, Jefferson County has closed all of its offices, except for courts and services related to law enforcement, officials said. Some human services will also remain open.
All Board of County Commissioner hearings and briefings will be postponed until further notice, officials said.
"If you are scheduled for a court appearance, please plan to appear unless you have been notified otherwise," read a Jefferson County alert posted Monday.
