Lakewood House Fire Sends 2 To Hospital
West Metro Fire and Rescue responded to a burning building near 17th Avenue and Harlan Street Tuesday Morning.

LAKEWOOD, CO -- West Metro Fire and Rescue crews responded to a burning building near 17th Avenue and Harlan Street Tuesday morning. Two men were inside the home at the time of the fire, firefighters said. One escaped from the house and called 911. The other man was unable to escape, and "our crews pulled him out," according to the fire department's Twitter feed. Both men were taken to the hospital.
