Lakewood Police Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting
A man was wounded in an officer-involved shooting Sunday, police said.
LAKEWOOD, CO — A man was hospitalized after an officer-involved shooting in Lakewood Sunday, police said. Officers were called to the Villa Rose Apartments near Oak Street and West 7th Place around 3 p.m.
When the officers arrived, they confronted a man who pulled out a gun, police said. The officers then fired at the man.
He was wounded and taken to the hospital, police said. His condition was not known.
