On Thursday afternoon, the manager of the Boulder Barnes and Noble was stabbed after a confrontation with a customer over stolen gummy bears.   3. Denver Police officer jumps into action, saves baby. Denver Police officer, Brad Dore, was working security at the National Stock Show parade on Thursday when he responded to a call that a baby had stopped breathing two blocks away. His quick action saved the child. (KUSA)
  4. CSU Spur campus opens third building that will be focused on water. The new Colorado State University Hydro Building on the National Western Center complex will act as a hub for a new generation of scientists and researchers, working on water sustainability in the West. (CBS4)
