Lakewood's Action Center Remains Open To Help Those In Need
The Action Center will provide modified services to those in need, the organization said.

LAKEWOOD, CO — The Action Center, which helps those in need in Jefferson County, remains open during the new coronavirus outbreak, the organization said. The center has modified its services to help protect the community.
The center will only be accepting non-perishable food donations as part of the modified services. Additional services such as clothing, household and personal care items, and on-site partner referrals are suspended until further notice, the center said.
The Action Center has closed its main program services building in an effort to contain the exposure risk that participants, volunteers and staff face during regular operations.
