Lakewood's Caution Brewery To Close
Taproom will close at the end of June. Another beer company will move into the Wadsworth Ave. location.

LAKEWOOD, CO – Caution Brewery announced the seven-year-old company will be closing their doors at the end of June.
"While we love what we do, we need to re-evaluate our situation in order to better serve you and the craft beer community," the company posted on their Facebook page.
As the Colorado brewery scene continues to grow, some companies are coming to an end. Fifteen Colorado breweries closed their doors in 2017, and others have shut their doors this year.

Caution's distributing partner will "continue to place our cans and kegs around town as long as supplies hold out, even after the final party in the tap room," the company reported.
For the final weeks, the company, at 1057 S Wadsworth Blvd., will sell pints for $5 and crowlers for $8.

“At the back of everyone’s mind is market saturation,” founder Danny Wang told BusinessDen. “Some of the concepts that worked a few years ago aren’t going to work anymore.”
Some customers have complained about the company's location. "You can’t turn in directly to the brewery when you are driving northbound on Wadsworth," a fan posted on Facebook.
But Wang said a new brewery will be moving into the Caution space. He also said the company is not giving up on brewing beer.
"Your favorite beers will return at some point in the future. You can't keep a good beer down," he posted.
