Man Accused Of Pointing Gun, Barricading Self In Lakewood Home

LAKEWOOD, CO — A man was arrested in connection with a barricade situation Sunday in Lakewood. He was arrested at his home in the 11500 block of W 32nd Avenue, police said.

Ryan Primeaux, 25, faces felony menacing charges, according to the Lakewood Police Department.

His roommate called police around 6:15 a.m., and said Primeaux was drunk and pointed a shotgun at them, police said. Those who were inside the home were able to leave.

Officers and the West Metro SWAT Team spent several hours at the home while Primeaux was barricaded inside, police said.
