Man Wanted In Connection With Woman's Murder At Lakewood Motel

LAKEWOOD, CO — Police are looking for a man who's wanted in connection with the murder of a 32-year-old woman Friday at a motel in Lakewood.

Asha “Ace” Thompson, 32, remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous, according to the Lakewood Police Department.

The victim, who has been identified as Brittany Guerin, was shot Friday night at the Blue Sky Motel in Lakewood, police said. Officers were called to the motel, at 6205 W. Colfax Ave., just after 9:30 p.m.

Upon their arrival, the officers found Guerin suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Witnesses said they saw three men and a woman running away from the motel in different directions.

Thompson was one of the suspects and was seen with a gun in his hand, police said. He was wearing a black hoodie or jacket, a black hat and camouflage pants.

If anyone sees Thompson, they are asked to call 911 immediately.

"Do not approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous," Lakewood police said.
