Missing Boater Found Dead In Harvey Park Lake

The body of a 74-year-old boater has been found, Denver police said.

DENVER, CO — A missing boater has been found dead in a Denver lake, according to police. A passerby called the Denver Fire Department Tuesday morning after seeing a body in the water, authorities said.

Gordon Clyde Ham, 74, was reported missing Sunday after his empty boat drifted onto the shore with his dog on board in Harvey Park Lake. The dog was not injured.

Divers and drones were launched in the search.

Crews arrived on scene at about 9 a.m. and found the body in the 4600 block of West Evans Avenue, police said.

Police were conducting a death investigation. Foul play is not suspected, police said.
