National Weather Service Forecast For Metro Denver: Update
More snow is expected to fall throughout Wednesday afternoon and overnight.

Light snowfall is expected to continue in metro Denver Wednesday afternoon and overnight until 2 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. The snow may get heavier after 3 p.m. Wednesday, with a high near 28.
The temperature will then drop to around 10 overnight, with a chance of precipitation around 70 percent.
"Snow accumulations in most areas will be around an inch, but areas near the foothills and south of Denver and Limon may receive as much as 4 inches," a weather alert read.

A sunny sky is expected Thursday and Friday, with a high of around 36 on Thursday, which will go up to around 50 Friday, weather officials said.
Some clouds will then creep in Saturday, which will see a high of around 51 and a bit of sun. There's a 20 percent chance of snow in metro Denver, but those heading south could be hit by a storm.

"Another storm system is expected to move over southern Colorado Saturday night and Sunday which will bring a return of light snow to the central mountains and a mix of rain and snow over eastern Colorado," the weather alert read.
