- Heavy rains and flooding possible today in metro Denver. The National Weather Service has placed several counties under a Flood Watch this afternoon and into the evening. The watch includes the foothills west of Denver, Boulder and Fort Collins. (CBS4)
- Casa Bonita revamp hits a snag. In an interview last week, the Southpark creators that now own the historic restaurant said that rehabbing Casa Bonita is a "total shitshow." In part, because of years of deferred maintenance by the previous owners. They compared it to a Kitchen Nightmares episode. (Eater)
- Leadville's burro racing is having a moment in Leadville. Running up hill with a donkey in Colorado's high country continues to grow, as runners compete in the First Ass Up the Pass and the Donkey Triple Crown. (Summit Daily)
- Many in the U.S. doubt their individual impact on climate. A recent poll reveals that 35 percent of U.S. adults say they are "extremely" concerned about the impact of climate change on them personally, down from 44 percent in August 2019. (AP)
