Teen Dies In Lakewood Triple Shooting; Local Roads Closed
An early Sunday shooting near West Florida Avenue and South Yarrow Street has left a 17-year-old boy dead, Lakewood Police said.
LAKEWOOD, CO — A 17-year-old boy has died following a triple shooting in Lakewood's Kendrick Lake section. Shots rang out around 4:15 a.m. Sunday near West Florida Avenue and South Yarrow Street, Lakewood Police said in a news release.
Officers found two people with gunshot wounds and both were rushed to hospitals. A third person was also found with gunshot wounds along with someone who had been attacked, police said. Both of them were also taken to hospitals for medical treatment.
Police later announced that a teen boy had died. The names of the victims weren't immediately released. Information about any possible suspects wasn't immediately available.

Florida Avenue has been reopened after closing from West Florida Drive to South Zephyr Street, police said. Yarrow Street remained closed at West Arkansas Avenue.
