Teen JeffCo Fugitive Who Jumped From Transport Still At Large
Manuel Andrew Martinez, 17, escaped from a sheriff's van near Hwy 285 and Wadsworth Thursday night.

LAKEWOOD, CO – A teen inmate who fled from a Jefferson County transport vehicle Thursday night is still at large. Manuel Andrew Martinez, 17, escaped in Lakewood while being transported in a sheriff's van from Jefferson County Courthouse to a youth detention facility in Lakewood.
Martinez, who was not handcuffed, opened a van door and jumped out near US 285 and Wadsworth Boulevard.
He was described as 5 ft. 5 inches tall and weighting about 100 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair.
