When the plans for brewery WeldWerks fell through in Colorado Springs, around the same time, the owners of WestFax brewing were searching for another location to expand their Lakewood brewery, the rest, as they say, is history. 2. Pedestrian struck, killed in crash on Christmas Eve in Lakewood. Lakewood Police Department indicated that a 26-year-old male was hit on Saturday evening on West Florida Ave. The driver of the vehicle stopped and immediately called 911 and remained at the scene of the crash. (FOX31)
