Here are the top stories today in Lakewood:
- A four-year old was killed by a falling tree in Littleton. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the boy died when a tree fell on him on Friday morning. A 14-year-old girl was also injured when she tried to help. (FOX31)
- Former Broncos QB is a now a mushroom farmer. Jake Plummer used lead the Denver Bronco's as their starting quarterback. These days you'll find him at his mushroom farm in Fort Lupton, CO, where he's farming fungus for use in medicinal mushroom tinctures. (KOOL1079)
- City of Lakewood's response to the Bear Creek diesel spill. Last Monday, a diesel spill poured nearly 200 gallons of fuel into a storm train that flowed into Bear Creek. The City of Lakewood has cleaned up the spill and indicates that there are only minimal impacts to the waterway. (Lakewood)
