Woman Dies After Shooting At Motel In Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, CO — A 32-year-old woman has died after she was shot Friday night at the Blue Sky Motel in Lakewood. Officers were called to the motel, at 6205 W. Colfax Ave., just after 9:30 p.m., police said.

Upon their arrival, the officers found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Witnesses said they saw three men and a woman running away from the motel in different directions.

One of the suspects had a gun in his hand, police said. He's described as a black man, 5'9", with an average build. He was wearing a black hoodie or jacket, a black hat and camouflage pants.
