LITTLETON, CO — As of Thursday, there were at least 24 cases of the new coronavirus in Littleton, health officials confirmed. Here's a breakdown of cases in nearby cities:
- Cherry Hills Village: 4
- Highlands Ranch: 52
- Castle Rock: 23
- Centennial (Arapahoe County count only): 36

According to government data posted Thursday afternoon, there were 3,728 cases of the new coronavirus in Colorado among 20,411 people who have been tested. There were 710 people hospitalized, and 97 deaths were confirmed.
In a news conference Wednesday, Polis called COVID-19 "the most serious global pandemic since the great influenza in 1918."
"The coronavirus is extremely contagious, that's why it's spreading like wildfire," he said.
