• Sterling Ranch's First Douglas County Elementary School Tops Out (milehighcre.com) — A new Douglas County elementary school is rising at 8220 Piney River Ave in Littleton, giving Sterling Ranch families a walkable neighborhood option by August 2027. The 91,000-square-foot Elementary School 51 will serve up to 750 preschool through fifth-grade students and is funded by a 2024 voter-approved bond. Enrollment is expected to open in November 2026.
