Littleton Double-Shooting: Man Arrested, Police Say

A 22-year-old man was arrested in connection with a shooting was not related to the victims, police said.

LITTLETON, CO – Update: The 22-year-old man arrested in connection with a double-shooting in Littleton was not related to the victims, police said. Timothy Alexander Shelton was arrested Wednesday and faces two charges of attempted first-degree homicide.

Commander Trent Cooper of the Littleton Police Department said the shooter and victims were "acquaintances." The woman remains in critical condition at a hospital and the man was treated and released, police said.

The shooting was reported around 6:26 a.m., Tuesday in the 6000 block of South Broadway. Police did not release the names of the shooting victims.
