Littleton Neighborhoods With Highest Coronavirus Case Rates

LITTLETON, CO — Over the past two weeks, more than 230 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Littleton, according to public health data.

Since March 2, 819 'confirmed and probable' coronavirus cases have been reported in Littleton by the Tri-County Health Department, and Jefferson County has reported 42 cases, bringing the total to 861. There have been 29 'confirmed and probable' COVID-19 deaths in the city.

Littleton-area neighborhoods with highest case rates per 1,000 people:

1. Southwest Littleton: 25.16; 59 total cases
2. City Hall: 24.84; 56 total cases
3. Littleton North: 19.33; 137 total cases
4. Northeast Littleton: 19.15; 258 total cases
5. S Federal Boulevard and W Belleview Avenue: 19.08; 52 total cases
6. Bowles Grove Park: 15.53; 70 total cases
7. Central South Littleton: 11.52; 76 total cases
8. South Littleton: 10.62; 66 total cases
9. Sterne & Slaughterhouse Gulch Parks: 9.55; 34 total cases

Littleton Public Schools is moving to 100 percent remote learning as the coronavirus pandemic spreads throughout the city, district officials announced Wednesday night.

State public health officials directed Arapahoe County to move to Colorado's stricter 'Safer at Home - Level Orange' on the state's COVID-19 Dial. The county has seen a surge in case counts and positivity rates over the past several weeks, health officials said.

Some city service changes and temporary closures were announced Tuesday after coronavirus cases were confirmed among employees at the Littleton Police Department, the Littleton Center and the Municipal Court, city officials said. The court will be closed through Nov. 27, and the Littleton Center is open by appointment only.

More than 3,300 new cases were reported Wednesday in our state, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's COVID-19 dashboard. Many counties — including Arapahoe County — are at risk of being issued a stay at home order if rates don't decline.
