Littleton Scuba Center Awarded Revitalization Incentive Grant

LITTLETON, CO — A Littleton business has been awarded a Revitalization Incentive Grant from the city. The grant encourages private property investments and improvements, while making revitalization efforts affordable, creative and of benefit to the community, the City of Littleton said.

The city awarded the grant to A-1 Scuba & Travel Aquatics Center.

"From the beginning of relocating A-1 to the City of Littleton eight years ago, they have provided encouragement, guidance, and unwavering support," A-1 owners Lynn and Scott Taylor said in a Facebook post.

Littleton City Council approved $100,000 in funding last year for the 2019 Revitalization Incentive Grant to be administered by the Economic Development Department.

The program offers up to 50 percent in matching funds to business tenants and property owners within the city who propose projects that improve the appearance of existing buildings.
