Merryhill Preschool Students Donate Clothes and Toiletries
Merryhill Preschool students held a clothing and toiletry drive to benefit Facing Homelessness
Students at Merryhill Preschool in Castle Rock recently donated more than 75 items to benefit Facing Homelessness. Over the past few weeks, students worked together to collect essential winter clothing items, including hats, gloves, socks and scarves, as well as toiletries. The items collected are critically needed by the organization this time of year. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping those in need in their community.
Facing Homlessness’s mission is to invite community to be a part of the solution to homelessness. In 2013, it began as a passion project on social media and eventually took shape as a nonprofit organization.
