Search Expands For Missing Teen In Chatfield Reservoir
"Divers are increasing their search area on the water this afternoon," South Metro Fire Rescue said.

Crews are continuing their search for a missing 18-year-old who went swimming in the Chatfield Reservoir Friday and hasn't been seen since. A crew with the Summit County Sheriff's Office has joined the search.
"Divers are increasing their search area on the water this afternoon," South Metro Fire Rescue said in a tweet Tuesday.
"Crews are searching additional target locations to the south of the original search area from new information shared on last points seen."

Witnesses on the shore and in boats last saw the teen near Catfish Flats and Chatfield Swim Beach, fire officials said.
Search crews are using drones and sonar technology to search the water. Crew members on jet skis have been patrolling search areas to keep boaters and swimmers away.

The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Marine Evidence Recovery Team searched Chatfield Reservoir until 11:30 p.m. Monday.
Friends and family of the teen are asking boaters and swimmers to stay away from the reservoir while the search is underway.
