Survey Launched For Littleton's Phase I Municipal Code Changes
Additional regulations have been proposed for downtown Littleton, and a survey has been posted for residents.
LITTLETON, CO — Envision Littleton has announced the proposal of new regulations for the city's downtown area. A survey has been launched to gather residents' feedback on the proposals.
"Staff has received direction that council would consider an additional level of downtown regulations to go along with the current downtown design standards," a public update read. "To that end, staff is recommending a two-tier approach with the code changes and design standards; phase I is within the 90-day moratorium (passed on February 4, 2020) and phase II would occur with more complicated issues likely outside of the moratorium."
The proposals include changes such as shortening construction hours, updating sex offender occupancy rules, specifying many building construction limitations and safety clarifications, creating more community engagement with developers and accessibility upgrades.
