Tri-County Health Department Closes After Threat

The agency's headquarters were ordered closed after a threat, according to a report.

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO — The Tri-County Health Department was ordered closed after police warned officials of a threat against the department's Greenwood Village building, according to a report by Colorado Community Media.

The Greenwood Village Police Department warned health officials of the threat Wednesday evening, CCM reported. The health department, at 6162 S. Willow Dr., was closed Thursday and Friday.

No further details about the nature of the threat were released. An investigation was underway.
