Video: Bobcat On The Hunt In Littleton Front Yard
Good reminder to keep pets safe: A video posted on the Neighbors app shows a bobcat chasing a bunny outside a Littleton home.

LITTLETON, CO — A bobcat recently paid a visit to a neighborhood in Littleton, and hunted a bunny in the front yard of a home. The hunt was captured on a home surveillance camera and posted Sunday.
"Bobcat bunny chasing... vroom! Been missing nighttime wildlife but this was good," the post read.
Several bobcats have been spotted in Castle Rock and Littleton over the past week.

Bobcats rarely bother people; however, the animals occasionally kill livestock and get into fights with house cats, according to Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Homeowners should try to limit shrubs and easy hiding spots on their property.
The resident who posted the video didn't mention which Littleton neighborhood they live in.

Many bobcats and mountain lions are captured on home surveillance cameras in metro Denver and surrounding areas each year. What's the difference between the two animals? Bobcats are often mistaken for another wild cat, the lynx, which is more common in Canada and Alaska. Lynxes are often larger than a bobcat, weighing up to 60 lbs.
