Get answers to 18 burning questions about Front Range Passenger Rail (coloradoan.com) — Longmont is slated to get a stop on the planned Colorado Connector passenger rail, linking Fort Collins to Denver by 2029 and eventually extending to Pueblo. The project could revive RTD’s long-promised Northwest Rail to Longmont, with shared state and RTD funding and a possible future sales tax vote to expand service and frequency.

Longmont gets a brief nod, noting its City Council recently began considering related rules, signaling that regional decisions on large data facilities and detention centers could shape development options around the city.

Aims Receives Maverick TwinJet For Maintenance Training (avweb.com) — A Longmont aircraft owner has donated a rare Maverick TwinJet 1500 to Aims Community College, giving aviation students hands-on access to modern jet technology. The kit-built jet, now based at Aims’ Loveland maintenance center, will be used across aircraft maintenance courses to teach about composite materials, upgraded avionics and twin-jet systems.
