New reservoir in northern Colorado starts to fill with water (kdvr.com) ā A major new water project just west of Loveland, the Chimney Hollow Reservoir, has begun its initial fill after four years of construction. The reservoir will eventually supply 12 northern Colorado communities and is undergoing careful monitoring for possible uranium from surrounding rock as it slowly builds toward full capacity over the next few years.

Arrest made in 2021 fatal hit-and-run that killed bicyclist (coloradoan.com) ā A Loveland resident has been arrested in connection with a 2021 hit-and-run crash on North Shields Street that killed bicyclist Luis āDarnellā Loma. Larimer County investigators say years of evidence work led to identifying the suspect, who now faces felony charges and has a court date set for April 27, while authorities still seek additional information from the public.
