• Students, public get behind the scenes look at robot surgical tools at Loveland's Banner hospital (dailycamera.com) — Students and community members in Loveland recently toured North Colorado Medical Center’s Loveland campus to see advanced robotic surgery tools like the Da Vinci 5 and VELYS knee replacement system in action. Surgeons explained how these robots, always human-operated, can mean smaller incisions, faster recovery, and fewer regrets after procedures, while visitors also explored the hospital’s microbiology and cardiac catheterization labs.
   

• New Zealand Mudsnails Confirmed in Carter Lake for First Time (news-usa.today) — New Zealand mudsnails have been confirmed in Carter Lake, the popular Larimer County reservoir just southwest of Loveland, raising concerns for local anglers and boaters. Colorado Parks and Wildlife says eradication is unlikely, so they’re expanding inspections and urging visitors to thoroughly clean, drain, and dry all boats and gear to keep the invasive species from spreading.
