• Larimer County restaurant inspections made Aug. 14-20, 2026 (reporterherald.com) — If you eat out in Loveland, several familiar spots just passed their latest Larimer County health inspections, including local favorites like B Sweet Cupcakes, Serious Texas BBQ, and The Love Shack Craft Mocktails. All Loveland establishments listed for Aug. 14-20 received passing ratings, though a few mobile vendors elsewhere in the county faced temporary closures for imminent health hazards. 
• Goodguys Car Show Tickets (audacy.com subscription) — Loveland residents can enter now to win 4-pack tickets to the Goodguys 28th Griot’s Garage Car Show Colorado Nationals at The Ranch Events Complex in September. The contest is open to Colorado adults, with online entry, bonus referrals, and mobile ticketing required to redeem prizes.
• Walker statue unveiled at Coors Field: 'Guess that's a way to slow me down' (mlb.com) — A new 15-foot bronze statue of Rockies legend Larry Walker was unveiled outside Coors Field, and it was crafted by George and Mark Lundeen of Loveland’s Lundeen Sculptures. Walker even visited Loveland last fall for detailed photo sessions to help the artists capture his iconic 1999 walk-off home run pose. The tribute cements both Walker’s legacy and Loveland’s role in Rockies history.
