Hosted by the&nbsp;Mancos Creative District, Burro Fest celebrates the spirited nature of burros through art and interaction. The 2026 event is a "Burro Birthday Bash" honoring Colorado's 150th anniversary, with a themed obstacle course representing state history. Attendees can enjoy live art demonstrations, costumed burros, and educational exhibits. The festivities begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the obstacle course at 10:30 AM and the Beverage Pasture opening at noon.

From sweeping melodies to spirited rhythms, this thoughtfully curated program honors the richness and diversity of American music.
Between performances, relax and savor a classic picnic lunch featuring summertime favorites: juicy hot dogs, flavorful sliders, creamy potato salad, and refreshing ice cream. Gather with friends and family, soak in the festive atmosphere, and make lasting memories filled with music, community, and patriotic spirit. Reservations for lunch must be made by July 1, 2026
