• Fort Collins man ID'd as person hit, killed by delivery truck on I-25 (kansas.com) — A man from Fort Collins was struck and killed early Sept. 26 on southbound I-25 near milepost 241 by Mead, in a collision with a FedEx delivery truck. State Patrol says the driver is not expected to face charges, and the Weld County Coroner has identified the 68-year-old victim while the investigation continues.
   

• Centaurus vs. Frederick: Colorado High School Girls Volleyball, Oct. 1, 2026 (chsaanow.com) — Granite Peaks girls volleyball standings show Mead sitting at 4-1 in league play and 7-3 overall, trailing only Holy Family and Niwot.
