Northglenn clamps down with mandatory water restrictions (northglenn-thorntonsentinel.com) ā€” Northglenn has activated Stage 2 Drought rules, meaning all residents and businesses now face mandatory watering schedules, drought surcharges for high use, and fines starting at $50 for violations. Outdoor watering is limited to assigned days and off-peak hours, and the city is also cutting back irrigation in parks. Officials urge residents to fix leaks, adjust sprinklers, and explore available rebates for waterā€‘saving upgrades.
