• VA Western Colorado Health Care System Mobile Medical Unit brings healthcare to veterans' doorsteps (gunnisontimes.com) — Veterans in Nucla can now access VA primary care, vaccines, lab work, and prescription help when the Mobile Medical Unit parks at V.F.W. Uranium Post 9058 on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of every even month. The clinic offers telehealth with primary care providers, routine screenings, and help with medical equipment, making it much easier for local veterans to get consistent, convenient care without traveling to Montrose or Grand Junction.
