• Colorado solar panels increased grassland plant growth by up to 90 percent (energiesmedia.com) — A new Shortgrass Ecovoltaic Research Facility in Nunn is launching cutting-edge studies on how solar panels might actually boost grassland health and help restore prairie ecosystems. Building on promising Longmont results, Colorado State and Cornell researchers will test whether carefully designed solar arrays can increase plant growth, support diverse species, and offer drought protection across Nunn's shortgrass landscape and the wider West.
